So who am I?

Ryan Johnson has worked in the IT industry for the past seven years, first as technical support, then IT support, and now an enterprise administrator and freelance IT consultant. He is currently studying New Media and Web Development at IUPUI. He runs BeepTC in his spare hours to get better at his craft and do more of the kind of work that he loves, IT, media, and web development projects.

BeepTC Philosophy

I try to keep Kaizen Philosophy in mind in all aspects of my professional works. Kaizen in a nutshell means 'continuous improvement'. The key ideas are: find small items that need improvement, build on your previous successes, and take small, comfortable, non-threatening steps toward your improvement ideas.

  • Do not spend money for Kaizen, use your wisdom.
  • Wisdom emerges in the face of adversity.
  • To seek the root cause of all your problems, ask 'Why?' five times.
  • Seek the wisdom of ten people than the knowledge of one.
  • Kaizen ideas are infinite.
  • Discard conventional, fixed ideas.
  • Think of how to do it, not why it cannot be done.
  • Do not make excuses. Start by questioning current practices.
  • Do not seek prefection. Do it right away, even if only for 50% of the target.
  • If you make a mistake, correct it immediately.
